I have Vista Home Premium, Quicktime 7.1.5 and IE7. If I try to download MP4 files the Internet Explorer Add-on window appears. Accepting this freezes the screen and no download takes place.I have the standalone version of Quicktime working...

WMP11 on my windows Vista Ultimate has corrupted. It plays media file but i am unable to play windows media on internet explorer.

Appologies if the answer is in another post but i have spent the last 2 days searching forum after forum to try and resolve the issues that i am experiencing.

I have the Haupauge Wintv-pvr-500mce and am running vista home premium. I decided to build this media pc to get rid of sky plus cause of the cost and the fact that sky is not that good any more.

I have installed everything and vista recognises the card but when trying to set up in media center it goes throught the scan but finds no channels. I have searched the haupauge site with no luck even after following their instructions.

i have had windows vista for about a week now and have had nothing but problems with it!!
No programs are compatible, you get asked if "You're sure" you want to do something every 5 seconds and now finally, the only thing that was working has suddenly just stopped. I watched a standard .avi video this morning and now this afternoon it won't play the video or any other media for that matter.
VISTA IS A JOKE!!! £369 for the ultimate edition and not even the basic programs work. If it hadn't worked from the beginning it wouldn't have been so bad but for it to just stop working for no reason is pathetic, just like the rest of this OS. But at least it looks nice... Money well spent!!!
