I have mercury Tv tuner card conexant cx23880 chipset.while installing the driver it says newer file exits do u want to replace when i give replace it installs and after that windows searches for the drivers and gives an error as device unknown.

I have an HP laptop with MCE on it.

I hate it (MCE) with all passions possible. I even dropped the nice tv tuner card it came with and bought a new one because I couldn't find drivers/software to use the one it came with without using the "convenient" Quickplay options......

I love it when your choices are "high" or "low" quality....what does that mean? What things are being dropped? Bitrate? Color saturations? What? Also, please don't organize my songs or pictures for me, I am a big boy, I can do it myself....rant over.

Anyway, my question is to those who have upgraded to Vista Home Premium using HP tv tuner card...

I've tried installing my Kworld DVB-T 300U TV tuner, and it just won't install. It get's most of the way through and then throws up a message saying it can't install correctly. Now i'm guessing this is because it's not compatible with Vista, but i wanted to check with you guys first.

I went to their website to see if there was any driver updates for Vista etc and they seemed to have one for every model except mine! I even emailed them to see what was going on,, but no reply as yet.

Help!
