This freeware let's you create widgets for your Windows or Mac:
Amnesty Hypercube is more than just a new desktop widget platform.
It's also the easiest way to collect, manage, share and publish "web widgets" -- snippets of code meant for your blog, home page or MySpace profiles.
Already using Sidebar? Any widget in Amnesty Hypercube can be pushed into your Sidebar with one click, which makes it a perfect extension to Vista's native widget environment.
XdN Tweaker - What is it?
In short, it is a free tweaking program for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Vista.
This is only a 230 KB file! Wow!
Windows Vista may be shiny and brand new, but as plenty of PC users will tell you, sometimes newer isn't better.
Many PCs simply don't have the horsepower to run the new operating system, and even those that have the juice may get bogged down by processor-and RAM-hungry Vista.
If you've got Windows XP, worry not -- you can keep it running on your hardware for years to come. As with an old car, though, if you plan to keep XP around for a while, you're going to have to spend some time maintaining it. Think of us as your virtual mechanics.
Yes, you can buy new computers with XP. Microsoft will continue to sell XP for a number of years. You can buy it at retail.
The upgrade advisor will alert you if certain software will be uninstalled. If it isn't uninstalled, it will still work.
