I'm struggling to find a vista driver for a Kingsun KS-959 USB Infrared adapter, it seems to find one on the disc that came with it but it fails installation, something to do with a missing line in the INF file, and so far I've had an unfruitful search of the web.
Anyone have any ideas on where I can get a working driver.

How can I find out whether a driver is included on the Windows Vista DVD?

My new PC will use a wireless PCI adapter to connect to the internet. If there's no driver on the DVD, I can't connect to the Windows Update, and I'm stuck.

So before I buy anything, I need to know if it will run out-of-the-box.

Is there a list or database that I can consult? Better still, can you tell me if any of the following are supported on the DVD (ie not requiring Windows Update)?
