Ok well Im trying to connect my Vista Ultimate laptop to my work wireless network and can get it to connect. It tells me that the is a problem when it trys to connect and tells me that i can diagnose or connect to a different network. I hit diagnose and it cant find the problem. That happens when i try to connect to the secure wireless network but I have no problems connection to the guest unsecure wireless network. The two secure network that i tried, one of them is wpa and the other wep and they are not the one that connect in. the wireless card is an intel wireless pro 3945abg.

I just assembled a PC with Biostar GeForce 6100-M9 Socket 939 motherboard and AMD Athalon 64X2 3800 Processor. After I installed Windows Vista, I am not able to connect on internet. I am using Vonage Linksys WRTP54G router. The network connection on other computers in the house is fine. Just this one is not able to connect. I am using 32 Bit version of Vista.

I have installed the driver files that came with the motherboard. I also looked at Biostar web site for newer drivers.

When I goggled for this issue, I saw several folks having this issue but I could not find any resolution suggested on the internet that would solve my problem.

I just installed the Windows Vista Beta 2 version and I am having a couple problems with my network. I can connect to the network but i do not have internet access. My wireless network card also will not connect to either of my 2 wireless network. I have 2 internal LAN cards and they will only connect to the network but not the internet. I had no problems installing the drivers they went in quite easily. I have troubleshooted almost everything I can think of. So now I am here posting on the forum to hopefully resolve the issue. I was going to contact microsoft but from what i can see they charg an arm and a leg to get help.

I installed vista business from MSDN and activated it and I must say its AWESOME, i could connect wirelessly to my hub with the wep key and everything is smooth but i moved houses and now I have no network my neighbour was kind enough to let me use his unsecure wireless connection temp *I promise I did ask him* now vista doesn't allow me to connect to the unsecure wireless even other networks i attempted to find if the problem was my enighbours netgear router but still same issue!!

I am using a song laptop and on my desktop pc aswell same problem, please help!

I have a really frustrating problem that I haven't been able to fix, and haven't got a response from Windows support.

I am running:
Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit
6600 2.4 Core Duo 2
2GB RAM
Netgear Modem
DLink Wireless Card DWL-G510.

I managed to find drivers for the wireless card, and it works perfectly fine (I can connect to my wireless network, and pick up networks in the region). I can also surf the net.

My issue is that I cannot connect to bittorent clients (such as Azureus), it says the port is blocked! I cannot connect to MSN whatsoever, there is a connection issue. Windows Defender also has problems updating - it is just unable to connect online to do so.
