Vista Disconeting from the internet after 2min

Well my title says it all, I have tried in vein to get the the computer to work.
I bought a laptop for my sister the laptop is : http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=331647

Iam running a wireless network at home. There are currently 3 computers on it and its running smoothly, I have gone through the wireless settings and cant find anything that should be a problem for the laptop.

I can get the laptop on the internet for about 2-3minutes at a time. after it falls out I have to go to the diagnosis option and run it twice then the internet is up and running for a whole two more minutes.

Try DNS Flush

go to cmd prompt and type the following

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

Hopefully after that you will have permanent connectivity.

Wireless connection problem - drop outs & poor signal
Hi guys I recently purchased a new HP Pavilion laptop which came with Vista Home Premium and I have been having constant drop outs and connection problems with my laptop and wireless billion modem/router (BIPAC-743GE). My connection strength is never above 60% - Always on Good connection, never goes up to Very Good or Excellent - my old Laptop which had Windows XP always had Very Good and Excellent connections. It also never had drop outs.

What I mean by 'drop outs', is that after a period of time being connected to the modem/router, my laptop will disconnect (not entirely) from the modem/router and I end up with a Limited Connection (Local Only). This happens after being connected for only 2 hours or so *the time varies every now and then* When I try to disconnect from the modem/router and try to reconnect, my laptop cannot find any wireless connections until I actually restart the laptop. Also, I am using the HP Wireless Assistant which came preinstalled.
Wireless or Ethernet Connection
I am having difficulty accessing the internet on my laptop using Vista. I have a home wireless network set up which I used for XP, and never had any trouble. Now when I turn on Vista, the connection usually lasts about 20 minutes and then either I cannot connect again or it shows a low wireless signal. Always after about 20 minutes. In addition when I try to use ethernet cables in hotels I have the hardest time establishing the connection. I have changed the power settings for wireless connection to MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, but it still happens. Is there some extra security settings or something that is pre set in vista? Please help!!
Windows XP on desktop PC, Vista on laptop? Networking ok?
Hello folks, hope you can help me. We currently have a desktop PC at home which runs Windows XP Pro. I have just bought myself a new laptop (HP Pavilion dv2000), which is also currently running XP. My new laptop however is eligible for a free upgrade to Windows Vista. I have been getting used to my new laptop over the past week and setting up my network, so that I can share media files from my desktop to my laptop (desktop PC wasn't powerful enough to do some video editing, which is why I bought the laptop). Will it be ok for me to upgrade my laptop to Vista, have my desktop running XP and still be able to share files and generally network my computers as normal?
Connect VistaLE Laptop to Windows XP Desktop
Is it possible for a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista LE Home version to communicate with a Gateway Desktop running Windows XP professional. I have a wireless router and can acess the internet fine but I can't get into my desktop with my laptop.

Just want to know if it can be done before I spend huge amounts of wasted time. Thanks for any replies.
Wireless Internet?
I cant find my Wireless Connection? I even tried to enter the WEP code manually ? My Brother who has a laptop with XP are able to connect to the Internet? i have updated my Driver and i am using a Onboard Wireless lan from in Intell? What is wrong? It also says my Wireless internet is disabled how do i fix it?
