Vista bootloader

I was using the grub bootloader for my triple boot vista / xp /ubuntu system. It is possible to adjust the grub bootloader to provide it with an image (for a graphical background while showing the bootloader).
But the problem with grub is that you cant choose xp or vista directly from the grub bootloader, it goes to the vista bootloader to let you choose between vista or xp.

Now I found a solution to use the Vista bootloader for all 3 OS to directly boot from (which saves me a hit on the enter key ). This is working great and I'm currently still using the Vista bootloader.

Now my question is if it is possible to also provide an image or so for a graphical interface for the Vista bootloader like I used to do with the grub bootloader

Moving Vista from slave to master

Deleting "Boot" and "bootmgr"
Apologies in advance for the lengthy post.

I started out with one partition, c:, with XP Pro SP2. Then I created a new partition, onto which I installed Vista Ultimate. This installed the bootloader onto the active partition (c:). I also wanted to install linux, so I created an extended partition with two logical partitions on it, one for root and one for the swap file, onto which I installed Ubuntu 6.10. This installed Grub into the MBR. So I had Grub loading either Ubuntu or the Windows Vista bootloader, which in turn loaded XP or Vista.

I was not happy with this arrangement, so I deleted the partitions onto which Ubuntu and Vista had been installed, created a small partition at the beginning of the drive (before the XP partition), and followed the instructions at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=260772, which worked beautifully.
Anybody having issues with turning on/off Win Vista features and the changes not happening?

Dual Boot Vista and Ubuntu
I installed vista, and then ubuntu edgy eft on a separate partition. Now, Vista won't load, although it shows up in the grub screen when i select i get a blank screen of dead.

Here's menu.lst, vista already has a +1 next to chainloader as a couple of people have told me to do...

Vista boot problem
Hi Guys. I am new to this forum, and new to vista, so forgive me if i ask stupid questions, but i have gotten an urgent problem.

I have somehow gotten installed some Grub booting up before it then tries too boot up Vista, sometimes, while still in Grub, displaying the message File not Found, and other times it manages to get to the windows menu for selekting safe mode or normal mode, but either way, it freezes and will not continue too boot.

Anyone got a tip on how to remove this?
I have allready trying to insert the disc, and sellect repair, but that doesen't work.
