I recently had 3 user accounts on my computer in my family. Whenever I downloaded something in one account it would also go into the other two accounts. I decided to just use one user account and delete the other two to prevent this duplication...

i have posted this question before, but i am hoping that the increased number of Vista users may be able to help.

I am a domain admin on my network and have two accounts. Account U and account DA. I run my vista computer as user U which is simply a user on the computer (no admin rights). User DA has administrator rights to the computer.

When i open computer to browse to servers (U has no rights to them DA has admin rights to them) i am browsing the network as U. because of this, i get an access denied.

has anyone been able to change who they are actually browsing the network as. Basically, i am trying to find a run as type of option for browsing network servers.

I have built two standard user accounts in addition to the main administrator account. The computer always trys to boot initially into the admin account. If I have applied a password to the admin account it gives an error of "wrong password" at initial startup. I can then select that admin account on the screen (only option) and log in by supplying the password. Then once in, I can use the "switch user" to get one of the standard accounts going. There must be a more eloquent way. I would like startup to be into a standard account, preferably with an option to select which one to use.

I've got a problem with Windows Photo Gallery, but it seems to be only on my user account. The color is distorted, white looks like beige. I've tried updating my drivers, and they are up to date, but the strangest part of it all is that it is only on my user account. I've checked and my Color Settings are no different from other users.

Any ideas what's wrong? Or how to fix?
