USB to IRDA Adapter

I'm struggling to find a vista driver for a Kingsun KS-959 USB Infrared adapter, it seems to find one on the disc that came with it but it fails installation, something to do with a missing line in the INF file, and so far I've had an unfruitful search of the web.
Anyone have any ideas on where I can get a working driver.

kingsun 959 vista driver

At the end of my homepage, I publish the driver. Simply I reorder the original lines of the xp driver. And my IRDA KINGSUN 959 is now full functionally in my Windows Vista.

driver needed too - kingsun irda 959

I found this http://www.castroj.com.ar/KINGSUN959_WINDOWS_VISTA_DRIVER.rar but the file seems to be corrupt - I get CRC problems when extracting. If you find a solution, let me know too.

I seem to have found your driver tweak - nice that someone is trying. But as I posted separately, I don't seem to be able to dl it correctly. Can you check the file and perhaps repack/zip/rar it?

a new problem

I got the rar opened (it seems my default unrar-program is flawed or something) but Vista gives me an error 31 ~ cannot load driver for device. Vista recognizes the usb-irda as Kingsun but says it cant load drivers. What am I missing here?

My new PC will use a wireless PCI adapter to connect to the internet. If there's no driver on the DVD, I can't connect to the Windows Update, and I'm stuck.

I installed Windows Vista on my computer and everything went well, but now I can't find a driver for my network card, and it doesn't seem to work without one.
All I know about the card is that it's an USB 802.11B Actiontec network card, and about 3 years old.
Does anyone know where I can find this driver?

Wireless Adapter on vista ??
Hi to all, i currently have a problem to configure my wireless EDIMAX usb adapter, i have downloaded the software for the adapter (zydas) which is vista compatible, and is working fine. I have configured my internet connection to be shared with the wireless network, however when i plug in my wireless adapter the application starts automatically and works fine, but after a few seconds when i check my network connection the wireless adapter says 'unidentified network' and does not manage to connect with the shared internet connection. What settings can i do in order to get this adapter working fine.

the card, according to FCC-ID number on card and Lynksys tech support, is version 1, and there is a driver for use in a Vista machine (32 bit OS only). Yet the installation did not work. Installer says install software first, then power down to install adapter card, then power up, and installer begins where it left off. This never happened. Anybody ever did this successfully? (I kinda doubt it, but doesn't hurt to ask)
