Upgrade from 1GB to 2GB DDR2 667

Got a question to ask. My vista score 4.5 on memory with 2* 512 ddr2 ram. Today i just bought 2*1GB DDR2 ram 667 and it seems that after update my score it still at 4.5 on memory. Why? Btw, my notebook is using 950GMA.
The big question is why 2GB VS 1GB i still got the same score? Even update twice also same. Both only 4.5 leh..Anyone care to explain why?
Also done deleting all the file in Data Store. After running perfomace assement again, it still gave me 4.5 on my memory. Same stuff. Wonder why.. The only different upgrading from 1Gb to 2Gb in Vista Performance Index is Graphic section. Previouly when running on 1GB it score 3.2 and after upgrading to 2GB it now shows 3.3. A mere + 0.1 on graphic? Maybe this is because it's shared ram in GMA 950.
As stated in your cpu-z, the core speed is rated at 997.5Mhz because the multiplier is reduce to 6 due to EIST. Somehow, i still don't understand why doesn't my WEI increase after adding another piece of RAM. According to the WEI documentation, the rating will increase proportionally with the amount of RAM installed.

The test will test the speed

The test will test the speed of the memory. Not how much u have. It'll help having as much memory you can but i think thats why urs didnt improve.

I have 2Gb Corsair 6400 800Mhz. I haven't overclocked em yet but i get a score of 5.9.

Everything of mine is 5.9 apart from processor which is 5.2

Memory Upgrade
I upgraded from 2GB of memory to 4GB of memory in my Vista x64 gaming rig and experienced a bunch of problems.

First, my machine only recognized 3GB of the installed 4GB. A friend told me to fix this I just had to enable mapping around the hardware memory hole. And that worked as far as the machine would recognize that 4GB were installed. Although right away there were a bunch of other problems. It caused popping in my speakers and didn't recognize a lot of my hardware such as my microphone, printer, and sound drivers. Also the index score for memory went from 5.2 with my 2GB to a 4.0!
Base Score not Updating
hey guys, i am trying to update my score but this time it wouldn't, I tried it before and everything was working as it should be.. I would always end up with a base score of 4.2 but now since i re-installed vista and switched back from my old graphic card to my usual ATI card, whenever i try to update the score, it would do the checks and all but it never updates the score, it stays on 1.0 and the Exclamation New hardware detected stays. I'd appreciate any help on that!
How new ram effected my Vista experience score
I had 1GB OCZ DDR PC3200, CAS 2.5
My lowest Vista score was ram, at 4.5

I installed 2GB OCZ DDR PC3200 CAS 2.0 yesterday. (Though running at CAS 2.5)
My ram score went from 4.5 to 5.9.

Now, my lowest base score is my CPU:
AMD 4800+ X2 (running a tiny bit over @ 2.53GHz)
Score: 4.9

All my other scores are 5.8 or 5.9.

Video is Nforce 7800GTX 256MB
Hard drive is dual 250GB SATA2 in Nforce RAID stripe.

I will not be upgrading my CPU, as the absolute fastest socket 939 cpu available is Opteron 185, (2.6GHz)
$300+ for .1-.2 faster cpu is not worth it by any stretch of the imagination.
Missing porformance index rating data!!
I can see my score of 4.5 (only 1gb ddr2 memory) but when I try to access more information, the window is blank, unlike everyone else posting their CPU, memory, and Video card scores... I am left with nothing.

Can anyone help? PLEASE!!! With all these little errors (this is one of many), on top of loosing my older games, I'm just about ready to go back to XP. I've never seen XP run on this new Core 2 system, but I'm getting more curious everyday.

XP is like your cousin who's living on your couch and wont get a job, but everyday you come home, all the housework is done. Who could kickem out?

i just upgraded to 2 gigs of ram from 1 gig and my score went from 2.6 to 2.2 why the heck is that it should be going up not down..my memory is pc2700,my other memory was the same speed so this should be going up not down
