Hello all,

I have an HP laptop with MCE on it.

I hate it (MCE) with all passions possible. I even dropped the nice tv tuner card it came with and bought a new one because I couldn't find drivers/software to use the one it came with without using the "convenient" Quickplay options......

I love it when your choices are "high" or "low" quality....what does that mean? What things are being dropped? Bitrate? Color saturations? What? Also, please don't organize my songs or pictures for me, I am a big boy, I can do it myself....rant over.

Anyway, my question is to those who have upgraded to Vista Home Premium using HP tv tuner card...

Does Vista come with the Quickplay Windows button for all multimedia needs? Or does it work more like XP standard, without that crap?

Or, if anyone has a driver/software package that will work with the HP tv tuner card using MCE without using their convenient methods, I'd appreciate a link.

It may very well be a deciding factor on if I use my free upgrade now or in a year...
