Sarah Palin raised a few eyebrows within the John McCain campaign because she didn't realize that Africa is a continent, according to aides whispering to a shamelessly right-wing news outlet.

McCain aides told Fox News chief political correspondent Carl Cameron there was "great concern" within the campaign that Palin "lacked a degree of knowledgeability necessary to be a running mate, a vice president, and a heartbeat away from the presidency."

Joe Biden says he’s tired of the type of politics of division he heard in Sarah Palin’s comments last night, when she told a North Carolina fundraiser that she liked to visit “pro-American parts of the country.”

“It's disappointing, and I hope it's a slip of the tongue and she doesn't mean it, but she said it. It was reported she said that she likes to visit, quote, pro-American parts of the country,” said Biden, leading into a lengthy dissection of the remarks.

Sarah Palin keeps asking people to ask more questions about Barack Obama. Now McCain has joined in on this refrain. But I don't get it. What more do they need to know? They keep saying he has to answer more questions about Bill Ayers, for example. But he has answered every ridiculous question on this topic a hundred times over. So, what are they really looking for?

The GOP veep pick's 2007 Alaska gubernatorial salary was $125,000. She collected an additional $17,000 in per diems for more than 300 nights she spent in her own home, as well as more than $43,000 to cover travel costs for her husband and kids.

McCain has become alarmed about the fury unleashed by Sarah Palin, the moose-hunting “pitbull in lipstick”, against Senator Barack Obama. Cries of “terrorist” and “kill him” have accompanied the tirades by the governor of Alaska against the Democratic nominee at Republican rallies.

A seven-term Republican Congressman from downstate Illinois is taking issue with fellow Republican Sarah Palin, saying some of the vice presidential candidate's rallies "don't befit the office she's running for." It was a complete accident. I went down to my local Tampa Starbucks where of course I expected to find the Obama Elite. I knew something was wrong as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. Typically in Tampa, you see far more Obama bumperstickers than McCain, but not tonight. In the Starbucks parking lot I saw 9 McCain bumper stickers. I thought to myself, what the heck is going on. I fear at first that Tampa had suddenly swung back to the dark side.

The Sambo story was done long ago. A waitress overheard Gov. Palin and her lunch friends discussing about “Sambo beat the bitc*” The story was written in the link below. Sambo, as we all know, is an old reference. Back in the plantation days, Sambo was a common term. The little black sambo used to be a common cartoon figure in some comics.

The Associated Press (AP) has long lost any credibility in their political reporting -- so I generally don't pay attention to anything that the AP puts out. And for good reason -- here's further proof that they promote a blatant liberal bias.

AP writer Douglass K. Daniel puts out a piece today entitled "Palin's words carry racial tinge". Daniel apparently thinks that Palin, who came out yesterday strongly condemning Obama's ties to William Ayers, is coyly playing the race card because she dares to bring up a fact of Obama's past associations.
