I've heard that if you install Vista OEM on a computer, it ties itself to the motherboard.
What upgrades can you do without microsoft doing anything? I've heard you can't do many upgrades but is this true?
Also is it possible to uninstall Vista OEM from one machine and install it on another machine?

Software Installation error

dry.gif blink.gif I was attempting a few ties to install a CAD software. 3 different types and All 3-resulted in "Administration has Stopped working". I went throught the proceedure to deactivated the (UAC) User account control. I am the Administrator. So I am at a loss.

Any IDEAS ???????
