European wireless network provider 3 has launched the world’s most advanced social networking mobile phone INQ¹. The phone brings Facebook to your mobile by delivering alerts directly on your cellphone. Not only that, the handset automatically synchronizes contacts with Facebook. Pairing existing contacts with one’s respective Skype and Windows Live Messenger accounts, the device allows a user to see who is on Skype or Windows Live Messenger anytime so that one doesn’t lose contact with his/her mates.

The look might be a bit 2006, but the features are very 2008, with a 'Push' version of Facebook leading the way - live updates sent straight to the main screen, not to mention one-click site access, direct photo uploading from the 3.2MP camera and a 'live contact book' showing which members of your virtual family are online.
