I have a installed Vista RC1 on a separate hard drive - Clean Install. But i still have a windows.old folder on the hard drive. Windows says the folder is empty but if i delete it it just comes back next time i reboot. I use TreeSize Pro by Jam Software and it says that the windows.old folder contains a hidden recycle bin that is always over 1.5gb. I can delte it but i just comes back. What is it's purpose on a Clean Install and how can i get rid of it!
