AirCorder is a program used to record (archive) radio station broadcast on the computer hard drive. Archiving can be useful for example in disputes with the advertiser as a fact of advertising being broadcast or be useful for various checks. Recording can be performed 24 hours a day or in specified time intervals. The program uses leading sound compression technologies so the created files have very small size. Save/load functions for schedule are disabled.
For me, Vista is causing a lot of head aches for which I can do without.
Yesterday, I uninstall a program that allows me to record streaming audio from the Internet. Now, I'm not able to use the Windows Media Player (WMP). Whenever I go to a radio site and want to listen to the radio station that uses the WMP, my browser (Firefox) doesn't activate WMP when I click on a link for listening to the radio station. I can't even get WMP to run when I try to run it from the start menu.
How can I uninstall WMP and then reinstall this WMP (version 11)?
Am I able to play Windows Media files, such as asx, using Real player or other players?
I have traveled briefly in SL and as a gamer I find it very appealing. I have some lag issues due to playing on a laptop, but overall I think they game brings a lot of interesting advances in how games are played. Now for me I see a potential to place advertising of my own website within secondlife. However I don't know the slightest way to make contacts in secondlife.
What I am looking for is some kind of partnership with a landowner. All I would want is access to stream our radio station within secondlife in a place where we can get some exposure. We aren't looking to gain anything other than just our name being put out there.
