i recently burned the videos she had on her xp desktop, to her new hp laptop with vista premium. they used to open in windows media player she said it try's to open them now threw some kind of windows quick player or somthing.. how do i fix this??...

I searched, but could not find the answer. I have been using RC1 on my desktop, which is equivalent to Ultimate. I am going to be getting a copy of Home Premium (Express Upgrade) with my laptop I just bought. I was looking at the listed items for each edition and there is a line item for Ultimate that is not listed for others; business networking and remote connections. I was wondering what that means because I went into a Best Buy and looked at two machines there, one had Home and the other Home Premium. They both had remote connections listed in the programs list and it ram when I clicked on it?

I have a laptop that was originally preinstalled with XP. I bought windows vista home premium upgrade, and I have been using vista without any problems for the past few months. Unfortunately, it appears that my hard drive is starting to failue...
