Checked into moving up to Vista. Since I have Windows 2000Pro, the Microsoft site says that I can't just upgrade, I have to do a complete install. Which to me means all my stuff goes bye bye. Is it possible to get around this by first upgrading...

I installed Vista 32 Ultimate and will now be upgrading that machine with a new CPU (Core 2 Duo) - with the hardware upgrade I'd like to move to Vista 64 Ultimate but have been unable to find any information on if it is possible to install x64 Vista from Vista 32 so as to save my settings. *I did check and have downloaded all my hardware 64bit signed drivers so that should make the move a bit less painful.
