This is not a post about Apple vs Windows or Linux vs Windows as I care little for such nonsence, my main problem with Vista is it's cost. In the US it retails at $99 for the basic upgrade version, this is not a bad price but over here in the UK it's going to go on sale with price tag of £99, if you convert that back into USD it comes out at $193!
I'm not anti Windows as some have called me before, my use of Microsoft software goes back to MS-DOS 3.11, I don't 'pirate' their software and bought Windows XP back in 2001, but now I feel it's changed and there is so many versions and upgrade options it's getting a little confusing to keep up with it all.
