I'm new to this forum so let me introduce myself, my name is Dean and I'm living in Manchester, UK

I have a problem with a new monitor I've just purchased, it's a 22" Widescreen LCD (Fujitsu Scaleoview L22W-3).

This monitor didn't come with any drivers and after speaking to Fulitsu-Siemens on the phone I'm told it doesn't have any or need any. The native resolution for this monitor is 1680x1050 however when going into the display settings this resolution option is not present. I have the monitor's drivers set to Generic PnP. I have a Geforce 6600GT graphics card which I'm assured is capable of running the resolution.

My system is an Acer Pentium 4 3000mhz with 1gb ram and 160gb Sata HDD runing winows vista home premium. i have a 17 incg LG flat tron monitor with a max resolution of 1280x1024.

my new graphics card is a Sapphire X1650 pro 512 mb ram

Now...i have had some problems with t he display having physically put in the graphics card. I updated windows vista online and did all the stuff and then when i rebooted for the last time the monitor claims that the signall is out of range.

AFter anohter clean install of windows i can view windows in a very low resolution and went to the ATI website to download the latest drivers for windows vista and downloaded and installed the catalyst controll centre for vista. However, when i try to run it, it claims that it is not compatible with my version of windows vista (32bit). Is this a fault on ATI's behalf or is there something i am missing.

I have a wireless lan PCI card and i installed and booted vista for the first time. installed flawlessly worked and i picked up my wireless network. I rebooted for whatever reason and my network was not being detected i checked the drivers in device manager and it had an exclamation mark next to the wireless card driver. I open it up and get error code 10 cannot start. So i start doing some research and find out everyone with this card on 64 bit vista has the same problem and one person's fix was to load windows in f8 mode disable driver signing enforcement. So i give it a shot and sure enough it worked.

So I am having a problem with a dual monitor system. When ever I exit out of screen saver mode one of the monitors just starts to flicker every time there is an on screen event (such as the mouse moving). I have to change the screen refresh rate to fix the problem, and I have had this problem with all supported screen refresh rates (60Mhz to 75Mhz) I have the latest drivers for my graphics cards.

System specs as follows.

Dual Core AMD 4800 x64 processor
x2 Nvidia 6800GT graphics cards (SLI Enabled)
2gb ddr 2 ram
x1 Generic TFT 17" Monitor (It is this monitor that has the problems)

The computer and connected peripherils will wake up from sleep mode when I move the mouse. But not the monitor. That forces a reboot. My video card is a Radeon X1300 with 512 MB dedicated memory. Can anyone help?
