Ok so I got windows Vista home premium... and I had problems with its 1st installation
(installed on a acer aspire 5630 laptop)
The 1st installation I told it to keep the old files and basicaly just upgrade (so i thought maybe this caused me all those problems on 1st installation)
So.. the 2nd installation i asked for a clean new install, this worked fine... not as many issues... and the ones i had i managed to fix after a couple of days.. except for one... one VERY annoying one...

Iv had vista a couple of weeks now and i havnt managed to connect to my network wirelessly for that time... i can connect if i plug the modem directly into the laptop..but this isnt very practical for me as doing this stops the 4 other pc's in my home from accessing the internet through the router...

When i attempt to connect... it just says unidentified network... (my network is named unititled..because i havnt gave it a name its just kept as its default..) and when i say disconnect so i can retry again it says "disconnect from unidentified (untitled) network)"
so it knows its my network confused.gif ?

can anyone help me get through this problem? it would be EXTREMELY aprecioated because it renders my laptop almost useless if i cant connect to the network.. im a student doing multimedia and the internet is a must have and needed tool.

also has anyone else had this problem?
edit* iv also installed the latest drivers for the inbuilt wireless adapter in my laptop.. and had no luck with that either.. iv also tried 2 other USB adapters with the vista drivers and i still have the same problem sad.gif
