After being thoroughly disappointed in the fourth Twilight series book, Breaking Dawn, I had to pump myself up to see the movie adaptation of Twilight. I dragged my boyfriend along. He was reluctant, thinking it would be a sappy romantic flick. I expected the same.

When I first read Twilight, I loved it. I was also fourteen. Since then, I’ve found the whole series to be progressively more ridiculous, but I LOVE them. Hilarious. Edward is such a creep. The only main characters who are not stupid and/or creepy are Alice and Jacob, both of whom totally rock.

Despite being the worst named movie ever, Quantum Solace, the newest in the James Bond epic, had a $27M Friday night. If all goes as expected, it could be a $70M weekend which far exceeds the former Bond movie record of $47.1M opening weekend ticket sales of Die Another Day. Has anyone seen it yet and if so, opinions? The critics hate it so I figure it’s probably pretty good.
In the US alone, more than 11 billion videos are viewed online every month. While nearly half of those are viewed on YouTube, this year saw the emergence of Hulu, the joint venture between NBC Universal and News Corp that has sent other video sites scrambling to sign deals with movie studios and TV networks.
