It seems to be completely random, but ever so often a program will just freeze and show the "NOT RESPONDING" title for about 20-30 seconds and then it will work fine. Other than that problem everything is working perfectly, is this a common problem? i've searched all over the forums and can't find an answer so I would really appreciate some help!. thanks so much.

specs:

AMD Athlon64 3800+
2 gigs Ram
2 video cards running two different monitors simultaneously: Geforce 7800GTX and 8800GTS

snother important note. im running a Athlon64 but I chose to run vista32 due to the horror stories revolving around impossible to find drivers.

I use two monitors with my computer. I have them set up as DualView (nVidia). In XP I could configure the desktop wallpaper individually, having different bacground wallpaper on each monitor.

Isn't this possible in Vista? I would like to use DreamScene on the main monitor and just have a black background on the secondary.

Is it possible to have 2 monitors share the same display? I have a nvidia 7900 GS with 2 DVI ports. When I connect the second monitor, the only option I see is to extend the main display to the second monitor. I would like to have both monitors set as main display because they are located in adjacent rooms. I also need to use both DVI ports as the display settings on each monitor is different (one LCD and the other DLP).

The Ribbon menu is fat, and with the new wide screens monitors I have real-estate to the Right or Left of my work space.

I know it sounds a little funny, but let me explain...

I intalled the beta drivers for the soundblaster ZS-2, for the most part it works ok, exept I only get sound out of the front and center speakers, Unless i go into the media center and play sound there, then it reconizes all speakers.

I notice when i have anything going on with my secondary monitors, the sound gets scratchy graphics...(i.e...scrolling IE, opening window on those screens...ect..), as if there is a problem with data transfer on the main board...(installed defualt main board drivers, no vista avail from what i have discoved)
