Internet Explorer 7

Hi all, sorry to bother again in such a short space of time..

I use my Dell Laptop for work purposes and access my email via Outlook Web access. I have no problems accessing the Webmail or reading emails, however, when I attempt to send an email my internet explorer freezes up and Windows stops the program..

Does anyone know what is causing this and if so, how it can be rectified? I used to use the same Webmail on Windows XP with no problems..

Many thanks,

Drew.

Documents Folder

Hi all, I have a bit of an issue with the 'Documents' folder duplicating automatically inside the User folder and it appearing on the desktop - even after deleting it multiple times it just keeps reappearing.. I am using a Dell Inspiron 6400 with 2Gb Ram, 265Mb ATI Graphics card and 1.67Ghz Centrino Due Core 2 Processor using Windows Vista Business.

If anyone can help with this I'd be most appreciated.

Many thanks,

Drew.

Can one set another folder to "Display as a Menu" ??

Fri, 2007-04-06 12:08 - Topics:

Now that I've done all the little things that made Vista actually run fairly well, I've found I really like the "Display as menu" option for the start menu. I like being able to see the cascading menu from my Documents link. However, I'd like to have this functionality for other folders not included in my personal directory -- does anyone know a way to do this or if it's even possible?

Many thanks!

Uninstalling programme installed with compatibility wizard

Wed, 2007-03-21 06:15 - Topics:

Greetings to everyone! I am new to Vista and to the forum and am enjoying and suffering the first approach to the new OS.
I recently installed Power Director 3 in the hope to be able to perform some operations I could then not perform. As it would refuse to install normally, I did it through the compatibility wizard. Now, however, when I try to uninstall it it gives me the same message that it gave when trying to install it normally, saying that it is not compatible and cannot be installed. If I try to go trough the compatibility wizard, in the hope that, finding the programme already installed, it would offer me the alternative to uninstall, does nothing of the kind, but offers only the possibility to change compatibility. Does someone know how to proceed to solve this and take Power Director 3 away? sad.gif

Graphics Card

Hi guys,

My first post here so forgive me if I ask lame questions. My PC has an ATI Radeon Xpress 200 graphics card with up to 256mb memory (I think). Would this be up to the job of handling Aero Glass when I upgrade from XP to Vista soon? Many thanks for any help.

PS. I also have 1GB RAM and 80GB Hard drive with a 3.06GHZ Pentium 4 processor. Can anyone see any problems I may have after the upgrade?

Dug
