I use Gmail as my default E-mail program, so I wanted easy access on the desktop. So I dragged the little picture from the Url bar onto my desktop. When I double clicked it Firefox opened a new tab and gave me a blank page with this in the Url bar. file:///C:/Users/Tadd/Desktop/Gmail.url (My name is Tadd). It also said done in the bottom left hand corner. So I tried making a internet shortcut by right clicking, I got the same result. So for the hell of it I tried it in the quick launch bar. In the Windows mail program, in Vista Premium, my password will not hold in the server tab. As soon as you put it in and go out and come back, it's gone. I've gone to other forums and other people are having the same problem. No body has the correct answer to solving the problem.
