My PC and my son's PC both have Vista, he did'nt want his sister to keep using his PC so put a pssword on it, anyway she guessed it and used his PC and then he changed it yesterday, but today he cant remeber it 
Any advice please. before world war 3 breaks out in my house

I want to burn a movie onto DVD and expected the new Vista to have the software as it is the Ultimate edition, so i thought i will buy that.. mistake, i hate microsoft..

Well, what you should do depends on how important data on the locked computer is to you. It is next to impossible to get past a forgotten password so tell your son to try his best to remember. If he really cannot, then the only viable solution would be to reinstall your whole system. Please note that doing this would delete everything on your hard drive. So if you actually want to go through with this, grab the "windows reinstall CD" which you got when you bought your computer, or a windows vista installation CD and follow instructions.
