Hi guys, i just go a new machine with Vista, it has a ati x1300pro and a 19 inch widescreen monitor from samsung. the monitor is connected in "digital" mode, when i launch NHL07 the only resolution i have is 600 by 480 or the smallest resolution...
I've been running Vista Ultimate since early December (RTM) with few problems. I have been using Firefox for years with no problems.
That is until last week or so. Now when I start Firefox in Vista I have a few problems:
1. Sometimes Firefox doesn't start at all. The process starts, but the window doesn't launch.
or
2. If I get the window to launch, all my add-on settings have reset themselves, my home page reset itself, and my other settings have reset itself.
Sometimes firefox starts up fine. Other times I encounter one of the two problems listed above.
Hi every one, Im using Ultimate and I started using Windwos Live One care scanner to clean my PC. I have used it 3 or 4 times with no probs but now it will down load the files and then go to the launch menu but then it goes back to the download files menu and so on. In other words it just keeps looping through the same 2 menus.
I have uninstalled it and rebotted but makes no difference.
Any ideas?

I am a new member of the forum. I recently purchased a HP Pavilion dv9000t with Vista home premium. I decided to do the update to Ultimate edition. Well I validate the key and download the updater. It gets all the way through the install and on the initial launch after the completed update it bombs out with a blue screen of death that prompts an error but the screen does not stay up long enough for me to see the exact error. The laptop is then stuck in a boot loop but never reaches the desktop. I tried running it in safe mode and still no success. I am forced to roll back to the version I am currently running.

I would like to congratulate the staff of The Vista Forums, for being very organised, and also for the very nice look of this forum. I have tried making Invision skins myself, and they don't look as good as this one (L33T Vista). Good job guys!

Explaining perhaps why they are rushing an imcomplete edition for 360. They plan to complete the game for launch on VIsta PC and a much wider more recptive audience. :/
