Hi
I ve just bought a new laptop spec:
AMD Turion X2 TL52 Processor
120GB Hard Drive (fast 5400 RPM)
1024MB - DDR II RAM
ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Graphics
running vista home premium.
Norton Internet Security
I downloaded and installed skype. I had this on my last laptop which was running XP and had no problems.
But on my new machine as soon as I open internet explorer I get multiple ads opening up in new tabs in internet explorer until it crashes out. I ve tried a restore but despite the restore points being available to select this returns 'an unspecified error' and wont restore. My AV cant find a virus, an error check finds no problems.
Please help.

Maybe some Help
This may solve this problem or not,
Pop-up ads can be caused by Spyware or Adware, this would explain the multiple pop-ups you get when you open internet explorer. Spyware and Adware is also not detected on AV as it is not a virus. I currently have SuperAntiSpyware free edition and it keeps my computer rolling, so you could possibly try that.
I'm experiencing the same
I'm experiencing the same problem. Did you find an answer ? I'm on Windows XP, and skype is installed since the beginning on my computer, but I'm having this problem since not so much time. May it come from acrobat reader 9 ? I read there are some troubles with this version. Since I also suffered of one the bugs adobe is already aware, it may be linked. (opening a PDF in IE makes it crash).
