Most browser implementors are quick to adopt emerging Internet technologies, but Microsoft can't or won't make Internet Explorer a modern web browser. Despite some positive steps in the right direction, Internet Explorer still lacks many important features. Its mediocrity has arguably hampered the evolution of the web and forced many site designers to depend on suboptimal proprietary solutions.

Firefox and itunes

Tue, 2007-05-01 15:23 - Topics:

I have two questions:
1) Does Mozilla Firefox work on Vista?
2) Does itunes work on Vista?

I have friends that are telling me one works and the other does not, or they both work, or the both don't. I'm not sure what to believe because even some websites say the same.

Also, is it better to use the Internet Explorer that comes with Vista or Firefox?

Much appreciated smile.gif

"Internet Explorer has stopped working"

I'm having major problems with IE7. Everytime I try to open it it tells me "Internet Explorer has stopped working" and wont open. However if I right click and "run as administrator" it opens. I have tried resetting IE7, running it without add-ons, re-installing, everything! I have administrator priveleges too. As if that's not enough, every few times this happens i also get a message saying "windows host process rundll32 has stopped working".

I am officially stumped. Sorry for grumping, any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Hi everyone. My laptop got infected by this annoying trojan/adware called WinAntivirus. It mustve got through both my firewalls and secretly installed itself on my computer. All my antivirus, spyware, and registry cleaning programs find parts of it but it seems to be taking over my internet explorer always redirecting me to different websites when im browsing the internet, and I cant seem to get rid of the entire thing.

Is there any program are instructions that you guys know so i can get rid of this "WinAntivirus". I have reached the wall for finding ways on how to get rid of this stupid program. I would really appreciate it. smile.gif
