Hi everyone,
I set up a wireless network at home with 2 notebooks. The access point router linksys WRT54G is set according to the instructions and DHCP ip addresses option was enabled.

First notebook with XP OS connects always without problems, but the second one with Vista OS connects only with router's configuration web site 192.168.1.1, and when I check the connection on Network&Sharing Center the line between the router and Internet is marked with a red cross.
Diagnose gives me response "There may be a problem with your Domain Name Server (DNS) configuration"
In Properties menu TCP/IP vs4 , IP address is set to automatically, only default gateway is set in advanced options as 192.168.1.1 , and DNS is set with the numbers provided by my ISP.

I tried to work only with the Vista OS pc in my network, inserted a d-link wifi adapter, also erased all network settings and setup the connection again, but the problem exists.

Thank you in advance for the attention smile.gif
