My PC and my son's PC both have Vista, he did'nt want his sister to keep using his PC so put a pssword on it, anyway she guessed it and used his PC and then he changed it yesterday, but today he cant remeber it

This is driving me mad I want to burn a movie onto DVD and expected the new Vista to have the software as it is the Ultimate edition, so i thought i will buy that.. mistake, i hate microsoft..
Anyway i tried to get my old Nero to work, every time i install it, it cant be found??!! its not in the programs list or anywhere

its really annoying guys, the program shortcuts that appear in the start menu are just unresponsive, i have to manually go to All Programs and click it there

does anybody get that too? maybe i need to reset the caching or shell.. ultimate upgrade sux

What could be wrong? My hardware supports Aero and all the other graphic stuff works properly.

I was attempting a few ties to install a CAD software. 3 different types and All 3-resulted in "Administration has Stopped working". I went throught the proceedure to deactivated the (UAC) User account control. I am the Administrator. So I am at a loss.

Any IDEAS ???????
