I currently have XP on my Dell and Home Office for XP installed. When buying a new computer it will have Vista on it. I want to know if I will be able to install my Home Office on the new one or will I have to buy a new version of Home Office for Vista.

I bought the dl version of office 2007 and am tryin to install it, but it gets an error which just says "office 2007 install has ran into a problem" and stops installing. I looked at the microsoft support site, where they do have a link for this error, but state that its due to having beta versions of office 2007 on the computer. Ive never had beta on my computer, so I dont know what to do. Anyone else ran into this problem and know how to fix it?

Sorry for the newbie question here......

I was wondering if I qualify for the 2007 Standard Office upgrade.

My computer has Vista Basic, the Microsoft Office XP with Word, Excel, Outlook...etc.

It also had Microsoft Works.

I downloaded the free trial of Office 2007 but after I downloaded it, it said my trial has expired....

I was wondering If I purchase the upgrade from Windows Marketplace, if it would work with my set up. It is a pretty big price differnce between the regular download and the upgrade.

I just tested out the Backup and Restore, I don't mean the Complete PC Backup image just the file backup.
Then I deleted a folder and restored it from a backup I've done before but certain files where missing.
Important files in this case because the folder I restored was one where I got a complete website in it and all the javascript files were not present after the restore.
Is there a way to specify which files are included in a backup and which are not?
I'm not sure but I think I've seen something before but can't find it anymore or I just remeber it the wrong way alltogether.
