i updated my firmware from the dell site late last week - i downloaded some stuff from my newsgroup and went to burn on a bulkpaq 4.7gb dvd - normally fine
didnt work so re-booted and then vista asked for driver, ok search nothing - so got all my dell discs nothing fount on there
so i have a dvd -r/w and no abilty to burn anything, any idea's how to fix this ?? maybe try another download of the firmware see if was dodgy can see that helping
any other idea's you can give me "nec site has firmware update no drivers" as its auto detect drivers "even
As I'd previously posted on here i had a problem with my Dell XPS M1210, when unlocking the screen would flicker and the notebook would lock up for a few seconds.
I've resolved this by downloading the latest nvidia drivers from the dell website.
it may all be in my head but the general explorer problems that i was also seeing seemed to have improved somewhat.
