Getting "Access Denied" folders in vista

Well I looked hi and low for a solution to this problem and didn't find one that worked. But on doing so i discover how to get access to these folders.

1) Right click the folder that you are being denied access to and go to properties.
2) Once there go to the security tab, click the edit button and in the Group or user name remove Everyone then apply.
3) Hit the add button
4) In that click on Advanced
5) In that window click on the Find button
6) In the search results scan down to you find Everyone highlight it and press OK
7) Now in this window make sure that you look at the Permissions for batch and check Full control

Bingo you have access to the folder. You will have to do this to all the folders you are denied but after you finish you will have full control of you computer.

If there is a nother way of fixing this problem please let me no I try most of the ones I found and nothin worked But this worked for me.

When I get to step 2, and

When I get to step 2, and click edit, it takes me to the OWNERS screen it doesnt let me remove EVERYONE. And it has put the permissions on my MY MUSIC folder. Any ideas?

I tried to open the cookie folder for example but get an access denied message even though in folder option I activated everything like hidden files protected files and file extensions but still get access denied.

multiple recipients in vista mail
I organized my contacts into folders like (friends), (relatives), etc with up to 50 or more names per folder.
I wanted to address an email to all the recipients in a folder. I clicked on (Tools) and (windows contacts) and selected the (friends) folder. I highlight the recipients in this folder and then
clicked on the (email) button on the toolbar.

If I highlight less than 24 recipients, all is well. I can compose my email and send it with no problem.
However, if I highlight more than 23 recipients and then click on the (email) button, nothing happens.
I can't compose the email and I can't send it.
Administrator problems HELP PLEASE
HY i need help, i am the administrator of the computer, and i wanted to add security to a folder and subfolders and so on. i selected that users of my computer can't not have full control of my folder. and then i couldn't access into the folder so i changed all security setting back and selected that everywone can use my folder. and then a window appeard when i clicked ok. the windows was for applying security settings to my folder and files in the folder. But then it said for every files that access is denied.

What do i have to do that i can use my files. PLEASE HELP

Hello. I have killed my Vista installation totaly, neither startup repairs, neither any other helped me. So I installed Windows XP to other HDD. Now when I want to access files from Users folder, such as Application Data or Local Settings, message appears ""Location" is not accessible. Access is denied". These folders contain very important files for me. Worst thing is that I cannot access My Documents folder... What I need to do to gain access to these folders ? Thanks in advance, if there's anything to access them...
