Hello guys,

I have the following problem with my Vista Home Premium: every time when I start the computer, everything loads normally, I login but then there is no desktop. Only the "computer (explorer)" window pops up and that's it. I have to ctrl+alt+delete, start the task manager, new task, explorer.exe and then it loads normally.

Tried the usual: removed AV, updates are 100% done, no unusual stuff in startup... UAC is off, Windows Defender is off, firewall is off: same results.

Any ideas?
