Windows Media Player is cutting out the blank parts of my videos. Instead of showing a black screen like it should, it pauses the video at the previous frame, plays the sound normally, and resumes the video after the black part was supposed to be finished.

Example: The Halo 2 Announcement Trailer: When the Chief jumps out of the ship and flies toward the screen, the video is supposed to fade to black while some music plays, then fade back in behind the Chief as he falls into space. Instead, it pauses the video with the Chief in front of the screen, plays the music like normal, and starts the video again behind him.
