Every time I open Firefox in Vista it asks if I want to make it my default browser, and I say yes. It seems to me that Windows security won't let me change my default browser. I have Firefox set as the default browser for the start menu too. What do I have to do to make Firefox and not IE7 my default browser? thanks

Hi can anybody help me make firefox and thunderbird stay the default email program and webbrowser?? On my start menu they are set as the defaults but when ever I start the programs they ask to be made the default.

I am running vista home premium.

I have two questions:
1) Does Mozilla Firefox work on Vista?
2) Does itunes work on Vista?

I have friends that are telling me one works and the other does not, or they both work, or the both don't. I'm not sure what to believe because even some websites say the same.

Also, is it better to use the Internet Explorer that comes with Vista or Firefox?

So UAC asks for permission to open firefox all of a sudden. I think after an update on the browser it started to do it. It is really annoying and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it... Any suggestions?
