Dear Forum,

I have a Compaq Presario V6000 - Model V6109AU.
My Problem is I cannot install Drivers and cannot access the Internet via ADSL.
I have contacted Compaq, They gave me drivers etc, In which no suprise failed mind you.

This PC Runs, NVidia Graphics and is an AMD Turion64.
All drivers i try and install say windows only or below.

Not workable on Vista Business?

Any Suggestions.

i have the Abit NF8 mobo which has the Realtek sound card onboard. i went to Abit and they dont have the Vista drivers, they only have up to windows xp and even xp 64bit drivers but no vista. I went to the Realtek website and they have the "vista realtek drivers" (both 32bit n 64bit) but wen i try to install i end up getting an error. it'll say "installing driver software" or something along those lines, a few secs later it sais there was an error triying to install "realtek sound device".

last night i was able to install some sound driver, but it promped with with one of those "its not the proper drivers, blah blah" i went ahead in installed anyways and it worked fine, but wen i rebooted, i got an error and had to insert the windows cd in and go through the repair thing.

My computer has an ASUS P5PE - VM motherboard. B4 i reinstalled my copy of windows vista due to severe problems (brang up in an earlier thread) my sound drivers worked fine. Yet now when i attempt to install my sound drivers it keeps telling me that i have the wrong OS, even though i am installing from the same cd and have the same OS. Can anyone help me with this drivers problem? I went to ASUS's website and they have no support for vista. Also my only resource from my old computer i kept on a USB was the windows folder. In it i think i found the specific .dll it adds to the computer but i dont think copying and pasting would work.

I am running a Compaq Presario V6109AU and have installed vista business, however I cannot access the net and a few drivers will not work with Vista...

I am not sure what I can do.

I have visited their website and still i cannot find any new updates.

I had Nvidia amd 64 turion chip i think with this machine...
I need help plz

mm hi im trying to buy a 1gb of ram to a compaq notebook presario v2000 and i don't know what kind of ram i should buy i mean like the size or is there something diferent??
