After many days trying to get Firefox pages to load I started using Remote Desktop to access my client servers and noticed things seem to hang when accessing anything outside the local network. Also my Smart FTP program hangs when trying to transfer files!!

I tested these issues on 2 new desktops with Vista installed and the same issues happen. The first issue seems to be with the Firefox web browser surfing sites. It loads half the page then hangs.

The second issue is with Remote Desktop. It works perfectly on a local network but when I try to connect to a remote server it loads about 1/3 of the desktop then hangs.

I’m not sure if both these issues are related but it seems to be something related to accessing the Internet.

BTW – IE7 surfs the net just fine and I can connect to the remote server on Windows XP!

Just wondering if anyone else seems to be having these issues as well.
