Having a wee niggly problem with Vista, My Computer is really slow to open, I originally thought it was a DVD in the drive slowing it down but thats not the case, not life threatening but an annoying problem?!?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if my new ATI Radeon X1300 I got is running too hot. I cant really tell you the actual temperatures because the card doesnt have a temp monitor chip and I was curious how warm it got so I turned off my computer, opened the case and touched the heatsync and it was VERY hot. I know its not the smartest thing to do, but it was the only way to test the temp. Is there any reason why its so hot?
