I was happily creating a CD label maker worksheet in Excel 97 when I discovered that I could not record a macro. I selected Record Macro, named it, then pressed OK and received a message telling me that Excel was unable to record. I then opened a spreadsheet I had created under XP and found that all its macros worked.
Do I need a driver or will I have to live without the ability to record macros?

Ex: If I search for "excel" a result for the Excel program comes up. Clicking on it does nothing.

Now when I try to save an excel file with Vista, it closes down the program. Help.

This Trojan arrives as attachment to email messages spammed by another malware or a malicious user.

This is a specially crafted Microsoft Excel document that takes advantage of a known software vulnerability to drop possibly malicious files. More information on the said vulnerability can be found here.
