Hi,
since my files are all WAV, they have no id3 tags/info, so migrating from iTunes to WMP is proving to be a hard task.
Is there any way to do this without having iTunes installed?

Musicbridge can do it but it requires iTunes and the media files to be on that computer.
However iTunes is no longer an option, since it knocked down my Vista install twice, requiring hdd formatting and complete OS reinstalation. Apparently there's some problem with iTunes+Quicktime, Vista and Intel Raid drivers - you can Google it, it's a very common problem.

Anyway, the main question is: how can migrate the information contained in the iTunes .XML file to the WMP .wmdb file?

I have Vista Home Premium, Quicktime 7.1.5 and IE7. If I try to download MP4 files the Internet Explorer Add-on window appears. Accepting this freezes the screen and no download takes place.I have the standalone version of Quicktime working...

i want to retain my playcount and playlists in itunes, which is on my XP computer. i want the exact same library on my vista computer. i copied all my mp3 files onto my vista computer, including the itunes folder which contains the .xml file.

has anyone successfully done this? if so, pls list step-by-step what you did. thanks.
