Security fixes and minor changes ahoy
Google has released a beta update of its Chrome browser, as it looks to correct security flaws and usability issues.

Although it quickly picked up over one per cent of the browser market at release, Chrome has slipped back to a reported 0.7 per cent, still ahead of Opera but a long way behind market leader Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla's Firefox and Apple Safari.

Chrome version 03.154.9 is a beta release to fix security bugs including the widely reported vulnerability that let sites potentially spoof addresses.

Microsoft today showed off Windows 7 in a comprehensive demonstration, highlighted new key features such as a more extensively deployed ribbon interface, a cleaned up taskbar, new search capabilities, multi-touch and DirectX 2D acceleration. While the company stuck to previous information that Windows 7 will be rolled out three years after Vista, the company confirmed that Windows 7 Beta will be made available in early 2009.

the beta has a time out on it, you will have to purchase a full version. besides there are things in the release that you do not have.
