Hi Folks,

I'm looking at investing in a new notebook in a month or so and with Vista appearing on the market, I'm looking to run it on the new notebook. Thing is I'm not too sure how it would run on the spec I'm looking at , so if any of you could help us out it would be appreciated.

At the moment I'm looking at a Dell Inspiron 6400 with the following main specs.....

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T5500 (1.66 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz FSB)
1024MB 533MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x512)
256MB ATI® Mobility™ Radeon® X1400 HyperMemory™ graphics card

I have a new Dell laptop, an Inspiron E1505, that has Vista home
premium edition with an intel next-gen wireless n card. I'm
having problems with wireless drops. I'm in an apartment building that
has recently gone wireless. The signal is indicating it's strong, yet
I am dropped back to local access only after about one minute, or
less, on-line. I have no problems connecting, and staying connected, to the internet in a public place,
like Starbucks, so I'm assuming it's an encryption problem, but I'm just not sure. Any ideas?

Hi,I have a Intel Celeron D 64 bit processor with Intel EM64T Technology (3.33 GHz,533 MHz Bus speed,512KB L2 cache) I wnat to know if Windows Vista Premium or Windows Ulitmate would run on this processor or does it take a Dual core processor?,It has Vista Home Basic Preinstalled on it now.Let me know!
