I have AVG 7.5 free edition installed on Vista Premium but after my upgrade from XP it wont work. In Windows Security Centre it wont let me turn on AVG. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but with the same result.

arhhh my first vista problem.When i install AVG at the end of the install it say that it cant start the resdident shield ie: avgrssvc.exeWhen i try running the program maunaly even with XP compatability i get this...
It says it has the wrong liscencing info or something...i click the link and the website isn;t in English...I can't uninstall either as the same message comes up

I just upgraded from XP to Vista Home Premium. Switched the AVG resident shield off whilst i did it and now it won't switch back on. I have uninstalled and reinstalled AVG, as per the AVG forum sticky, but still have the same issue.
Have posted on the AVG forum as well.

Anyone know of a good FREE anti virus download that works on vista... I've got AVG but it keeps coming up with a loading error every time I turn on
