Ok i was messing around with windows mobile device center and tried to upgrade and wound up de-installing windows mobile device center and the windows mobile device center driver (i swear i followed the un-install instructions that told me to do it) now i have the windows mobile device center driver but lost the actual mobiles windows device center!!! when i click on the mobile device center in the control panel it just sits there and looks at me. How can i get the Mobile Device center back to normal??? alre
Here is a link to the non-beta Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC). As indicated it finally is out of betaness. I have it installed and working very well with Bluetooth. The WMDC can always be sort of a pain with USB. So, if USB doesn't work right off, then I always get it working first with Bluetooth. On my real Vista laptop (and the later Vista betas, including RTM), I never got the WMDC beta to work with USB. Post back if you want info about installing. In general, it can be tricky to install.
Happens anytime I try and open a .exe. I am trying to install video and audio drivers so that my cards will work with Vista. - I just bought Vista -....
Thia is going to sounds really stupid but ive been struggling for 3 hours to transfer the contacts from my MDA Vario III over to the Windows Mobile Device Centre!
In Windowes Mobile Device Centre after you have created a partner ship asks you whether you want the link to transfer music files, contacts, files etc - I ticked the contacts box and synchronised the device. It's all working fine except i can seem to access the contacts list - to check that the numbers from my phone were transferred onto my laptop for back-up.
am i being really stupid and have missed something - someone help - please!!!!
