I just finished installing Vista Ultimate and am impressed. I had only one problem.
I have a Hauppauge PVR 250 pci tv tuner installed. The "found new hardware wizard" popped up and offered to search for the correct software. I should have cancelled it. I let it install the "correct" software and it said it was working properly.
After installing the WinTV 2000 software, it did not work. I had to uninstall everything manually. Hauppauge does have a HCWCLEAR file that is supposed to remove all drivers and applications, but this didn't work.
In device manager, under hauppauge Win-TV PVR - driver tab - choose uninstall; this finally caused the "found new hardware wizard" to popup (after rebooting). When this happens, cancel the wizard.

When I'm using flip 3d i can scroll through the different windows fine, but when i click the one i want to view, it just goes back to the one i was originally looking at. Does it do this for everyone? Is there a way to fix it?

Edit: I just realised you can activate flip 3d using start + tab buttons, the problem i have above is fixed when i do this however it still doesn't work when i click the button on the start bar

Hi People,

I had my Vista disc come yesterday installed all working great. I love it, Computer performance is much better.

Problem i got it about an hour ago my vista aero glass effect is no longer showing and my theme is a blue sort of colour.

Aero was showing until about an hour ago. I have looked all over and cant see how to enable it again.

I went into Appearance Settings and windows vista aero does not show it just seems to have vanished.

Any Help Appreciated

I've managed to change my display settings to something that my monitor can't support! When vista starts up with the login screen, the monitor goes black and shows an says I need to change my resolution settings, but I can't because I can't see the screen!

I can boot in safe mode, but you don't seem to be able to change the display settings there. Anyone know how I can get out of this problem?
