Whenever I try to install Adobe Reader 8 in Vista it gives me a message saying "the temp folder on this drive is full or you do not have access rights.

I am trying to install adobe reader 8 for vista to my vista ultimate system and I get this strange error :

Windows Installer:

The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible.Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folder.

Every time i receive an attachment with email through windows mail and try to open it directly from the program, i get an error message: "no program associated with this file extension. this happens primarily with .pdf's and sometimes with .doc's.

If i save the document to a directory, the document has no trouble opening (adobe reader 8 is the associated program)

i recently uninstalled Adobe Creative Suit 2 (with acrobat professional) is this what is messing up windows mail? How do i fix this?
