Just when I thought I was getting the hang of it, nothing but problems.

1)How do I remove/delete/un-install software/programs/drivers. I found the Programs & Software icon in control panel that gives you the option of remove/repair or install. I thought that would work. My problem... everytime I try and remove something, I re-boot to flush out the memory then attempt to re-install. Next thing i know, I'm being told software is already installed. Last week something got messed up and i lost my video and sound drivers. I tried re-installing them, but everytime I tried I got a notice that they were already installed. I had to use system restore and go back to an earlier time to get them working again.

I am looking at VISTA for the first time and when clicking on CONTROL PANEL, there doesn't seem to be an icon for ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.Would someone please tell me where it is now located?Thanks --======================EDITING ORIGINAL...

How does one de-select, remove built in Windows components? I thought the European Union forced Microsoft to give Windows users that option. In the control panel, I have found "programs & features" > turn Windows features on & off. Thanks...

How does one remove a program in Vista? There is no icon in control panel.

Print, Email, Burn, Make, Movie... Who actually uses those? Shouldn't there be a Scan/Import option? More importantly the option to remove them would be a priority for people who don't actually use them.
