Can they be migrated into Vista business?
Greetings to everyone! I am new to Vista and to the forum and am enjoying and suffering the first approach to the new OS.
I recently installed Power Director 3 in the hope to be able to perform some operations I could then not perform. As it would refuse to install normally, I did it through the compatibility wizard. Now, however, when I try to uninstall it it gives me the same message that it gave when trying to install it normally, saying that it is not compatible and cannot be installed. If I try to go trough the compatibility wizard, in the hope that, finding the programme already installed, it would offer me the alternative to uninstall, does nothing of the kind, but offers only the possibility to change compatibility. Does someone know how to proceed to solve this and take Power Director 3 away? ![]()
Hi, I have been searching for a way to upload pics from my computer to Photobucket. On XP it was easy, open picture folder, choose the folder or pic and use the link "publish this folder to the web". The wizard would start and all went smoothly from there!
Not so easy using Vista, the option to "publish folder to web" is not there. I have searched help and could not find any help, tried the word publish, export, etc. and nothing. There are many ways to email pics, work with pics but no information that I could find on uploading.![]()
i have one single 160 GB SATA II hard disk which is partitoned as follows

I used complete PC back up to image my system partition only(c: and d:) NOT the other partition
i was asked to select the partiton that will be included in the image backup.
C: n D: these 2 system partition was already included by default and i DID NOT select other partitons (except C n D i have 3 more partiton as u can c above)
so thus i have created the image in .VHD format and put the IMAGE in>> MYDOC g: partiton
Anyone done it yet? Can you connect through IE with //(domain) and still get the wizard? I'm curious because I may be getting a new PC/laptop or two and am curious how people are doing on attaching Vista to a 2003 network. Is it easier to just...
Locates Canadian postal codes that are within close proximity of a specified postal code. All you do is type in a postal code, specify the radius distance, and within seconds, a list of all postal codes that fall within that radius is displayed. The Postal Code Distance Wizard permits you to export or copy the results to either a comma separated value (CSV) file, or to the Windows Clipboard. Includes every 6 digit postal code in Canada.
Hey guys, Today I was trying to find the VPN server Wizard, I could find the one in XP fine but not in Vista. I am beginning to think, perhaps vista does not support VPN servers. Although that is silly so I hope not. My question is can anyone point me in the direction of VPN server setup. Cheers guys!
My sound card isn't being recognized by vista. In device manager it just appears as "Multimedia Audio Controller".
I've tried 3 sets of vista drivers from the Creative website and none of them recognize a sound card. As if there were no sound card installed at all. I also downloaded the ngohq modded drivers and still no luck.
Doing the wizard and searching for drivers does not work. The only driver I see listed for "creative" is "Unsupported Game Port".
Windows Update did not work.
The drivers on my XP install will not work.
I even moved the card to another pci slot.
